With a sincere dedication to improve the quality of life of her employees, Mayor Ester Hamor signed an agreement with GSIS for the GSIS Financial Assistance Loan (GFAL) last August 9, 2019 at the Office of the City Mayor during the visit of GSIS personnel headed by its Vice President, Rachel Edjan.

A program orientation immediately followed which was attended by the city employees who expressed high hopes that the program will address some of their financial concerns. employees of the city. Their feeling of joy and relief escalated when the mayor announced that the agreement to avail the program was already signed.

The City Government welcomed the partnership to help employees address the vicious cycle of personal mismanagement of funds that stems from the perennial problem of overborrowing and recycling of loans.

As a condition to avail the GFAL and to ensure that the objectives of the program will be met, Financial Literacy Seminar was given to the attendees to promote and teach proper management of finances.
