Judegementalism, a group of 10 student-artists from the Far Eastern University (FEU), mounted a one-day exhibit at the Sorsogon City Hall on July 15, 2019. Mayor Ma. Ester E. Hamor led the city officials and employees in welcoming the exhibitors, whose paintings depicted the Sorsogon way of life. Also in attendance were Rev Fr. Fernando Caindec, parish priest of Our Lady of Fatima and City Councilors Rebecca D. Aquino and Jo Abegail Dioneda.
The artworks, done in acrylic, oil and watercolour, were the products of a 15-day immersion in Sorsogon. The students admitted that their showpiece. Sowing and Reapin, taught them the value of hard work and made them empathize with farmers. The piece is likened to the sowing and reaping of new ideas.
The pop-up featured 62 artworks in various media. Aside from displaying the paintings, the artists also held an on-the-spot painting, with city officials and employees posing for portraits.
